Decent hotel near bus stop
On my recent visit to Switzerland, I stayed at the Ferienart for two nights, and really liked the location to the bus stop and ski slopes. This hotel has an Intersport rental shop connected to the hotel – no need to even take your hotel-provided slippers off! There is an amazing grotto style pool underneath the hotel, which is a huge plus for families! If you’re feeling like dancing, you can book out the private disco room for special events, and dance your heart out.
For dining, there is a stubli (fondue restaurant) that’s quite charming, and a pizza restaurant that boasts the largest salad buffet in Saas-Fee! Upon arrival, you’ll be given a welcome drink, and you can relax in the spacious lobby or go check out one of the dining areas which used to be the pool – it looks like a scene straight out of The Little Mermaid. The breakfast buffet that is included with the room rate is a sizable spread – make sure to snag a waiter to order your eggs and crepes!
The rooms have many different layouts – the one that I stayed in had a small bathroom which included a glass-encased shower, tub, and double vanity. The beds were comfortable, but the private balcony with a gorgeous mountain view was the best part!
If you’re looking for a quirky, unique hotel with nice dining options that’s close to the bus stop, the Ferienart is a good choice.
