Standard hotel with standard rooms. Not luxury but what we were seeking
Staff were great. Food was average. Room was standard. All met our expectations.
Powder sking in September
We arrived in Valle Nevado the day after a 20 cm dump. For the 4 days we were there we continued to ski untracked powder. The Hotel Puerta Del Sol offers a great ski out location to the slopes. The rooms are a standard hotel room size. The décor is dated, but the good location to the slopes makes up for it. It is nice to have a variety of restaurants to choose from. Apres Soup is a nice gathering spot to meet other skiers.
