Beautiful and old schoolThe facilities and staff are first rate. The rooms are clean and comfortable, decent breakfast included,. Cookies and hot cider in the afternoon
Classic!A classic Alpine lodge...with a lobby/bar reminiscent of "The Overlook" (Timberline Lodge at Mt, Hood .''"The Shining") I was down by he fireplace at 04:30 each morning with my book. Comfortable chairs and couches..a welcoming spot to chat up other guests. The "breakfast buffet" was adequate and nicely presented...a good selection yogurt, fruit, drinks, muffins and rolls...good coffee as well. The shuttle service up the hill to the lifts ( a little too far to walk in ski boots) is free and efficient.
