Lovely Surprise in the middle of Zermatt Village
I can't say enough about the Hotel Mirabeau. This is a repeat visit for me, but it's been five years and it never fails to surprise me. What a lovely property with its elegant mountain décor that's not formal, but comfortable and inviting. This hotel has been family run for generations and the staff and service are wonderful. Its 4-star superior rating is well deserved with their exceptional spa, pool and amenities. The location in town makes for easy access to shops, dining and all Zermatt has to offer. The ski lifts are 300 yards walk or a short complimentary shuttle ride on electric ski bus. Majestic views of the Matterhorn from the dining room make every meal a pleasure. I love this hotel.
