Snowpine Lodge is one of the only buildings in Alta that can still be traced back to when mining was the primary industry in Albion Basin at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon. This canyon is home to both Alta and Snowbird ski resorts and the "Greatest Snow on Earth”. Snowpine Lodge was expanded in 2017-18, adding a luxury touch, numerous amenities, and cozy rooms ranging from family suites to private rooms to dorm-style lodging. The Lodge includes a full-service restaurant, après ski bar, outdoor pool and hot tubs, spa, indoor grotto, game room, and ballroom.

One of two master suites is also on the main level along with the laundry room with two washers and dryers. All bedrooms have en suite baths. From the chalet it is a short walk or shuttle ride to Alta’s base lifts and you can ski back to house.

The main living area has a large stone fireplace, dining table and fully equipped kitchen--dishwasher and breakfast nook included.
