For added convenience, this level has air conditioning and a powder room. On the ground level of this beautiful townhome is a queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom and access to the heated garage for ski storage. On the third level of the home, you will find the master bedroom with a large picture window with views of the mountain, a four-poster bed, and a spacious ensuite bathroom with a walk-in closet. The two additional bedrooms include a bunk room with a twin over full bunk bed and a split King / 2 XL Twin beds bedroom, both with access to the full bathroom in the hallway. Keep following the stairs up one more level to the showstopper of this home – the rooftop deck! Here you will be greeted by a stunning panoramic view of Steamboat Springs. The ski area straight ahead, town to the west, and Emerald Mountain to the south. You really get it all up here! Mountain High Chalet is conveniently located to the Thunderhead Express high-speed quad lift with easy access provided by regular, complimentary shuttle service. The hand shaped logs are beautifully finished and provide a cozy living area centered in front of the stone fireplace. The Great Room with high ceiling and loft shows off the fine craftsmanship involved in the construction of the chalet. Mountain High Chalet offers 3 charming bedrooms and baths in the main house and a detached apartment garage with fireplace, bath and kitchenette. The kitchen in the main house is fully equipped. The dining table will comfortably seat eight guests for an elegant dinner setting as the alpenglow lights up the mountain. The outside decks offer one of the most spectacular views of the area with a 180-degree view down the valley to the Flat Top Mountains and up to the Steamboat Ski Area. This is same view that you can enjoy from the hot tub on the lower deck. Please note this home is located in a mountainside neighborhood which gives you spectacular views all around. In winter the road is plowed regularly but 4WD and snowtires/chains are essential if you intend to bring a car. If it snows (which it does a lot) you will need to pay attention in the driveway which is steep and without guardrails.
