Whitefish Mountain Resort Lodging

Kandahar Lodge is located ski-in at Whitefish Mountain Resort. Cross the street in front of Kandahar Lodge to access the Home Again Trail in the morning or take the courtesy van to any location in the village area. The Lodge is a classic mountain lodge in a prime ski-in location. Choose from several room types, all of which have microwaves, small refrigerators, flat screen cable TVs and complimentary Internet access. Studios and kitchen lofts have complete kitchens. The executive suite is a three-bedroom, two bath condominium within the Lodge. Lodge amenities include the beautiful lobby furnished with antiques and featuring a wood-burning river rock fireplace. The fully licensed Snug Bar has a wine list of over 350 labels and a selection of appetizers from Café Kandahar. Award winning Executive Chef Andy Blanton serves thoughtfully constructed cuisine inspired by classic and modern influences. He strives to support local and regional food suppliers. Portions of the menu change nightly and a Chef’s tasting meal is always available paired with fine wines. There is a large outdoor hot tub, steam room, exercise room and massage treatment room. Continental breakfast is included in the price of the rooms. The S.N.O.W. bus stop providing free transfers to/from Whitefish is a short walk from the Lodge. Whitefish is 7 miles from the Resort (15 minutes on the bus) and is an exciting, vibrant town offering a selection of excellent restaurants, unique shopping, a brewery, typical Montana bars, art galleries and museums.

The Sherpa is a five story, ten unit condo complex located on the Big Mountain road near the entrance to the Whitefish Mountain’s main parking lot. It has an indoor heated swimming pool and underground parking, and is just a short walk or shuttle to the lifts.

This recently constructed 3-bedroom-plus-loft townhome offers over 3,000 square feet of living space that’s packed with all the comforts of home. Best of all, it is ski-in/ski-out! Just off the living room is a half-bath. The home has the look and feel of a traditional ski lodge, with hardwood floor running throughout the first floor and a tongue-and-groove pine ceiling.

Ides Cottage is a two-story single family home located in the Whitefish Mountain Village across the road from the Home Again Ski Way. It is approximately 2,000 square feet, and has wonderful views of the ski runs. There’s a sauna on the upper level and laundry facilities on the lower level along with ski storage. A large deck is located off of the main floor area. Downstairs is a family room with a ping-pong table and gas fireplace.

Set within 52 acres of forested land in Ptarmigan Village on Big Mountain, The Cedar Nest is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom Whitefish condo that sleeps 8. Community amenities include both indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, tennis courts, and hiking trails. There are a front load washer and dryer in the unit. Just a 5-minute drive to City Beach on Whitefish Lake to enjoy all the lake activities! You’re also only 10 minutes from Whitefish Mountain Resort and a 35-minute drive to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. Getting around Whitefish is FREE and EASY via the SNOW BUS! The SNOW BUS is a FREE shuttle service that takes you all around Whitefish including up to Big Mountain and back during peak ski and summer seasons! We also have Taxis, Lyft, and Uber! If you are traveling during the Winter season, we highly recommend having a 4x4 or AWD vehicle as weather conditions can be unpredictable.

The Bitterroot condominiums are just a short walk up to the Chair 3 ski runs, and a short walk down to the Village. Condos have full kitchens and private decks. Guests have access to the Sherpa pool complex which includes two hot tubs and an indoor pool.
