Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Nestled on a quiet street with a covered front porch overlooking the mountains, this spacious townhouse welcomes guests to an open-concept living area with high ceilings, big picture windows, and alpine chalet decor—including vintage skis and log furniture. In the sitting area, a wraparound leather sofa and 2 country armchairs frame a soaring stone fireplace and TV for cozy nights inside after a day on the mountain. Steps away, high-end appliances and a gas range in the kitchen make it simple to prepare a delicious meal for 4 to share in the light-filled dining area, with 3 extra spots at the bar.
