Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Under the same roof are restaurants, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and the Solace Spa. The Huntley Lodge includes convenient access to an outdoor heated pool, two outdoor hot tubs, and a fitness center.

Blue Grouse Hills is the perfect year-round location for a quiet family retreat to Big Sky, abutting rolling sagebrush and forested hills near Town Center. This quaint neighborhood features a small handful of townhome duplexes styled on the exterior as log cabins with all the comforts of home inside—and lots of outdoor living space for lawn games or playing in the yard. Big Sky Town Center is a 10-minute walk or short drive, where guests will find many of our favorite local shops, restaurants, groceries, and nightlife. Other nearby activities include fly-fishing and rafting on the Gallatin River, horseback riding, and mountain biking. The west entrance of Yellowstone National Park is a 45-minute drive to the south, most of which is through the scenic northwest corner of the park and Gallatin National Forest.

An open living, dining and kitchen area has beautiful wide-plank hardwood floors, a vaulted ceiling, a large stone fireplace and beautiful mountain views. Rich leather sofas and an armchair surround a TV and an impressive stone wood-burning fireplace. Sliding glass doors open from the living area to a patio with a large hot tub and a gas grill. A wood dining table with bench seating and a dine-in kitchen counter are inviting spots to enjoy a quick snack or a home-cooked meal. A guest bedroom off the kitchen has a king bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed with sliding glass doors that open to the patio.

A two-level rental, guests will love the open-space living plan that also includes wrap around patios and balconies with views of Lone Peak and the surrounding Gallatin Range.

Residences are standalone, single-family homes. Six Bedroom Mountain Homes offer scenic forest and valley views and close proximity to ski trails with direct ski in - ski out access. These homes also offer close proximity to Lodge and its amenities. The homes entrance is located on level two - featuring the main living area and fireplace which seats 6-10 - a full gourmet kitchen with premium appliances - an island with barstool seating and a dining room that seats 8-10.

Sleeping 11 guests in Big Sky, Hobbit House is a peaceful 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom retreat, combining the serenity of a private home with the convenience of nearby amenities, like Big Sky Golf Course.
