Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. This 3-bedroom, 3-bath home features custom furniture, natural timbers, and tasteful Western decor, creating an inviting atmosphere with plenty of space to gather together and relax after a day of playing outside. An open floorplan ties together the living, kitchen and dining area, with sliding glass doors and picture windows allowing in lots of natural light. Outside, a private hot tub on the back deck, provides the perfect way to unwind after a day on the slopes or trails, with even more outdoor space to relax on the covered front porch. From your location, just 5 minutes from the Big Sky Mountain Village Base Area and 15 minutes from the Big Sky Town Center, you’ll have easy access to alpine and Nordic skiing, hiking and biking trails, fishing, rafting, shops and restaurants. Yellowstone National Park is just under an hour away. With driveway parking for two cars, you can easily explore Big Sky’s many year-round adventures. Please note that 4-wheel drive vehicles are necessary for winter rentals at this property.

Rich leather sofas and an armchair surround a TV and an impressive stone wood-burning fireplace. Sliding glass doors open from the living area to a patio with a large hot tub and a gas grill. A wood dining table with bench seating and a dine-in kitchen counter are inviting spots to enjoy a quick snack or a home-cooked meal. A guest bedroom off the kitchen has a king bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed with sliding glass doors that open to the patio.

Big View Luxury Suite features spectacular panoramic views of the Big Sky area and luxurious furnishings and décor. It offer year-round fun for the whole family and direct ski-in/ski-out access to Big Sky Resort. This suite offers 4 bedrooms, each with a private bath. For your entertainment when you're not enjoying the beautiful slopes, the living room boasts a smart TV, DVD player, a Wii console, and an iPod dock for playing your favorite music throughout the suite. There is also a wood-burning fireplace for comfortable evening gatherings. A deck off the suite provides access to the hot tub as well as a gas grill. There is also a laundry room for your convenience.

Sleeping 11 guests in Big Sky, Hobbit House is a peaceful 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom retreat, combining the serenity of a private home with the convenience of nearby amenities, like Big Sky Golf Course. Located on the Moonlight Basin side of the resort, Saddle Ridge Townhomes are a three-story complex that is cozy, yet elegant. Guests at Saddle Ridge enjoy peace and quiet with Lone Mountain rising up in the west and the Spanish Peaks glistening to the north. The property is ski-in/ski-out or slopeside to both Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort via the Iron Horse Chairlift, which is in front of the Moonlight Lodge. Amenities include: Private outdoor hot tubs, washer-dryer, a full kitchen, living,and dining areas. A private 4x4 vehicle is suggested for transportation.

Marrying modern architecture with a cozy mountain-home atmosphere, Tanager House is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath Silvertip cabin offering a light-filled, wood-and-glass escape with sweeping views of the surrounding Madison Mountain Range, including Lone Peak and the Spanish Peaks. With direct access to a groomed, novice-friendly ski trail, which takes you directly to the Madison Base Area and Six-Shooter high-speed chairlift, Tanager House is ideal for skiers of all levels. In the summer, explore hiking and mountain-biking trails at Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Built in 2015 and named by Architectural Digest among the world’s “9 Most Beautiful Hotel Cabins,” the Silvertip enclave is a collection of unique luxury ski cabins featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood beams, mixed stone-and-wood facades, and angular mid-century inspired silhouettes. The living area flows into a 10-seat dining area with a custom granite table and gourmet, fully-equipped kitchen. A glass door leads to a private deck with expansive views, lounge chairs, BBQ grill, and private hot tub. The picturesque sunset views are truly unforgettable. The home has a laundry room and one-car garage with customized storage for your skiing/snowboarding/biking equipment in addition to your vehicle, so you can easily explore surrounding areas, including the Meadow Village and Yellowstone National Park. Please note that if you opt to pay the guest fee, you can access the private Moonlight Basin Club, and its gracious amenities.
