Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Located in the Cowboy Heaven area of Moonlight Basin, the Moonlight Mountain Home at 7 Mountain Home Road is a 3 bedroom 4.5 bath home designed with easy winter ski access in mind. Summertime means outdoor living with spacious decks, a private outdoor hot tub, and of course spectacular nearby Yellowstone National Park! Convenience to activities such as hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, and rafting abound – not to mention direct ski in/ski out access to Big Sky Resort. The home offers three bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with a king. Each bedroom has a private bath. The master bedroom also has a gas fireplace. The crew will also love to gather around the TV and Wii gaming console in the loft, which also has a private bath, Additional sleeping room is available on the two twin beds with trundles in the loft. A separate living room is equipped with a SmartTV, BluRay player, and a wood-burning fireplace. For your convenience, the home is equipped with a laundry room and a one car garage. Guests of 7 Mountain Home can enjoy access to the private Moonlight Club for an additional fee, which includes a fitness center, outdoor pool and hot tub.

In the summer, explore hiking and mountain-biking trails at Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Built in 2015 and named by Architectural Digest among the world’s “9 Most Beautiful Hotel Cabins,” the Silvertip enclave is a collection of unique luxury ski cabins featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood beams, mixed stone-and-wood facades, and angular mid-century inspired silhouettes. The living area flows into a 10-seat dining area with a custom granite table and gourmet, fully-equipped kitchen. A glass door leads to a private deck with expansive views, lounge chairs, BBQ grill, and private hot tub. The picturesque sunset views are truly unforgettable. The home has a laundry room and one-car garage with customized storage for your skiing/snowboarding/biking equipment in addition to your vehicle, so you can easily explore surrounding areas, including the Meadow Village and Yellowstone National Park. Please note that if you opt to pay the guest fee, you can access the private Moonlight Basin Club, and its gracious amenities.

Ideal for large groups or extended families, this three-level home has 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. With over 4,000 square feet of living space, the home offers plenty of space to relax both indoors and out, including a private deck overlooking Lone Peak with a BBQ grill and outdoor seating. Styled in mountain-modern decor, this custom home features top-of-the-line appliances, granite countertops, a Sonos sound system, Apple TV on all TVs and a game room. Natural light streams through floor-to-ceiling windows, creating an inviting atmosphere on the main level, which features a seamless flow between the living, dining and kitchen areas. Comfy sofas and a wood-burning fireplace in the living room invite guests to relax after a day on the mountain, while a cozy breakfast bar allows for catching up over hot cocoa or a glass of wine in the gourmet kitchen. The master suite enjoys privacy as the only bedroom on the main level. This room features a king-sized bed, en-suite bath, and views of Lone Peak. Four other bedrooms are located on the lower level. In addition to prime ski access, Hunt’s View is also ideally situated to enjoy Big Sky’s summer activities. Hop on the Beehive Basin Trailhead, a 3-minute drive, or explore lift-served hiking and biking at the Big Sky base area, accessible in less than 5 minutes. Restaurants, nightlife, shopping and entertainment in downtown Big Sky are 10 minutes away. A 2-car garage allows you to easily explore the area. Please note that 4-wheel drive vehicles are necessary during winter season.
