The Summit melds European sophistication with Western style. Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Nestled in the pines on the Moonlight Basin side of Lone Mountain with direct ski-in/ski-out access to Big Sky’s uncrowded slopes, this free-standing cabin offers comfort and convenience in an awesome location! It is an ideal Big Sky base for endless alpine adventures. From the open plan living area and kitchen through to the two spacious bedrooms, the warm interiors create the feel of a true ski cabin with mountain décor, handmade cabinets, and alpine artifacts. This 880 sq ft cabin is an ideal base for families and groups of friends and easily accommodates six guests in an en-suite master, bunk room with custom log beds and a sofa bed.

Gray Owl Retreat is an unforgettable 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home with sweeping mountain views that sleeps 10. This retreat is nestled on 1 acre of land surrounded by 15 acres of green space, and is home to elk, foxes, and abundant wildlife. Guests will love relaxing in the private outdoor spa, playing shuffleboard or ping pong in the game room or utilizing the golf hitting cage and basketball hoop in the summer.

Residences are standalone, single-family homes. Six Bedroom Mountain Homes offer scenic forest and valley views and close proximity to ski trails with direct ski in - ski out access. These homes also offer close proximity to Lodge and its amenities. The homes entrance is located on level two - featuring the main living area and fireplace which seats 6-10 - a full gourmet kitchen with premium appliances - an island with barstool seating and a dining room that seats 8-10.

With big picture windows and sweeping mountain views, Wolf Pack Hideaway offers a feeling of true comfort in the heart of Moonlight Basin. Nestled directly on Moonlight Basin’s Powder River run for ski-in, ski-out access in the winter with hiking and biking trails out the door in the summer, the 4-bedroom home is ideal for groups and families looking to enjoy Big Sky’s year-round recreation. Styled in mountain decor, this rustic mountain condo welcomes guests to an expansive great room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the mountains and French doors opening onto a private deck with a hot tub. There is a second deck that offers a gas grill for guests to use. A full-length leather sofa and three additional armchairs provide ample space to relax around the fire or watch the large flat-screen TV. With ski access and hiking trails just outside, guests have ample opportunities to enjoy the outdoors from Wolf Pack Hideaway, but private on-site parking makes it easy to explore the surrounding area, from downtown Big Sky, located just 8 miles away, to Yellowstone National Park, about an hour’s drive. Available for an optional fee, guests also have access to the Moonlight Club facilities, a 3-minute drive away, including a heated swimming pool, fitness center, and family-friendly activities like snowshoeing and ice skating at Ulery’s Lake outdoor activity center. In the summer, guests can mountain bike, fish, and many other activities.

Blue Grouse Hills is the perfect year-round location for a quiet family retreat to Big Sky, abutting rolling sagebrush and forested hills near Town Center. This quaint neighborhood features a small handful of townhome duplexes styled on the exterior as log cabins with all the comforts of home inside—and lots of outdoor living space for lawn games or playing in the yard. Big Sky Town Center is a 10-minute walk or short drive, where guests will find many of our favorite local shops, restaurants, groceries, and nightlife. Other nearby activities include fly-fishing and rafting on the Gallatin River, horseback riding, and mountain biking. The west entrance of Yellowstone National Park is a 45-minute drive to the south, most of which is through the scenic northwest corner of the park and Gallatin National Forest.
