Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. An open living, dining and kitchen area has beautiful wide-plank hardwood floors, a vaulted ceiling, a large stone fireplace and beautiful mountain views. Rich leather sofas and an armchair surround a TV and an impressive stone wood-burning fireplace. Sliding glass doors open from the living area to a patio with a large hot tub and a gas grill. A wood dining table with bench seating and a dine-in kitchen counter are inviting spots to enjoy a quick snack or a home-cooked meal. A guest bedroom off the kitchen has a king bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed with sliding glass doors that open to the patio.

The Settlement Cabin, located directly across the street from the clubhouse at Spanish Peaks Mountain Club, is the perfect home for a relaxing getaway at Big Sky resort. At the Spanish Peaks Clubhouse, guests can take advantage of ski-in, ski-out access via the Lewis and Clark high-speed quad lift on Spirit Mountain as well as the community pool, fitness center, tubing hill and much more. This 3,200 square foot Big Sky vacation rental is perfect for families and groups. The 5 bedroom home has a spacious deck off the main living room with gas grill and private hot tub. With ample seating and an outdoor fire pit, this is the ideal spot to entertain. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a gas range, with seating for 8 people at the dining table plus another 3 at the breakfast bar. The living room is located on the main level and has a wood-burning fireplace perfect for relaxing after a long day on the slopes. The master bedroom is located on the main floor and has a king bed with an en-suite bath. There are two other bedrooms that both have a king bed and en-suite bath. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed with en-suite bath. The fifth bedroom has two full beds with trundles. There is also a bonus sleeping area in the loft with a twin daybed. A washer/dryer and two-car detached garage are also available, for your convenience. Please note that a temporary guest membership at the private Spanish Peaks Mountain Club is required for an additional fee, applied to persons 12 years and older.
