Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Summertime means outdoor living with spacious decks, a private outdoor hot tub, and of course spectacular nearby Yellowstone National Park! Convenience to activities such as hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, and rafting abound – not to mention direct ski in/ski out access to Big Sky Resort. The home offers three bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with a king. Each bedroom has a private bath. The master bedroom also has a gas fireplace. The crew will also love to gather around the TV and Wii gaming console in the loft, which also has a private bath, Additional sleeping room is available on the two twin beds with trundles in the loft. Alpine Meadow Chalets are surrounded by lodge pole pines and are located within a half mile of the Madison Base Area. Chalets feature fine finishes, designer décor with cathedral ceilings, stone fireplaces, decks, in-unit laundry facilities and full kitchens. A private vehicle is recommended.
