Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Located on the Moonlight Basin side of the resort, Saddle Ridge Townhomes are a three-story complex that is cozy, yet elegant. Guests at Saddle Ridge enjoy peace and quiet with Lone Mountain rising up in the west and the Spanish Peaks glistening to the north. The property is ski-in/ski-out or slopeside to both Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort via the Iron Horse Chairlift, which is in front of the Moonlight Lodge. Amenities include: Private outdoor hot tubs, washer-dryer, a full kitchen, living,and dining areas. A private 4x4 vehicle is suggested for transportation.

At the Spanish Peaks Clubhouse, guests can take advantage of ski-in, ski-out access via the Lewis and Clark high-speed quad lift on Spirit Mountain as well as the community pool, fitness center, tubing hill and much more. This 3,200 square foot Big Sky vacation rental is perfect for families and groups. The 5 bedroom home has a spacious deck off the main living room with gas grill and private hot tub. With ample seating and an outdoor fire pit, this is the ideal spot to entertain. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a gas range, with seating for 8 people at the dining table plus another 3 at the breakfast bar. The living room is located on the main level and has a wood-burning fireplace perfect for relaxing after a long day on the slopes. The master bedroom is located on the main floor and has a king bed with an en-suite bath. There are two other bedrooms that both have a king bed and en-suite bath. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed with en-suite bath. The fifth bedroom has two full beds with trundles. There is also a bonus sleeping area in the loft with a twin daybed. A washer/dryer and two-car detached garage are also available, for your convenience. Please note that a temporary guest membership at the private Spanish Peaks Mountain Club is required for an additional fee, applied to persons 12 years and older.

It is an ideal Big Sky base for endless alpine adventures. From the open plan living area and kitchen through to the two spacious bedrooms, the warm interiors create the feel of a true ski cabin with mountain décor, handmade cabinets, and alpine artifacts. This 880 sq ft cabin is an ideal base for families and groups of friends and easily accommodates six guests in an en-suite master, bunk room with custom log beds and a sofa bed.

Marrying modern architecture with a cozy mountain-home atmosphere, Tanager House is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath Silvertip cabin offering a light-filled, wood-and-glass escape with sweeping views of the surrounding Madison Mountain Range, including Lone Peak and the Spanish Peaks. With direct access to a groomed, novice-friendly ski trail, which takes you directly to the Madison Base Area and Six-Shooter high-speed chairlift, Tanager House is ideal for skiers of all levels. In the summer, explore hiking and mountain-biking trails at Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Built in 2015 and named by Architectural Digest among the world’s “9 Most Beautiful Hotel Cabins,” the Silvertip enclave is a collection of unique luxury ski cabins featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood beams, mixed stone-and-wood facades, and angular mid-century inspired silhouettes. The living area flows into a 10-seat dining area with a custom granite table and gourmet, fully-equipped kitchen. A glass door leads to a private deck with expansive views, lounge chairs, BBQ grill, and private hot tub. The picturesque sunset views are truly unforgettable. The home has a laundry room and one-car garage with customized storage for your skiing/snowboarding/biking equipment in addition to your vehicle, so you can easily explore surrounding areas, including the Meadow Village and Yellowstone National Park. Please note that if you opt to pay the guest fee, you can access the private Moonlight Basin Club, and its gracious amenities.
