Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Guests can choose to dine in the large dining area or outside on the large wraparound deck with ceiling heaters. Powder Ridge Cabins are handcrafted cabins with roomy floor plans, modern amenities, and old world charm. Located on the north end of the Mountain Village, you can access skiing via secluded trails and bridges. In fact, on your first day of skiing, you can access the White Otter Lift and ski over to the base area to pick up your lift tickets. Just make sure you get exact directions on the best ski route back to your cabin, or you might end up too far down the mountain! Private vehicles are required for this location.

With amazing views of Lone Peak, White Grass Lodge is the perfect home for your extended family’s vacation. In winter ski-in/ski-out access to White Otter chair lift makes this home super convenient for skiers and boarders. Ideal for large families, this luxury home boasts 5 bedrooms, each with a king bed, and a bonus room downstairs. There are additional beds in most of the bedrooms, with sleeping accommodations for up to 20 people.
