Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. From the main-level ski room, a private staircase leads to a groomed access trail for convenient ski access to Moonlight Basin or Big Sky Resort, giving each guest the freedom to hit the slopes, break for lunch, or start apres-ski at their leisure.
