Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Under the same roof are restaurants, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and the Solace Spa. Available for an optional fee, guests also have access to the Moonlight Club facilities, a 3-minute drive away, including a heated swimming pool, fitness center, and family-friendly activities like snowshoeing and ice skating at Ulery’s Lake outdoor activity center. In the summer, guests can mountain bike, fish, and many other activities.
