Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Under the same roof are restaurants, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and the Solace Spa. The Huntley Lodge includes convenient access to an outdoor heated pool, two outdoor hot tubs, and a fitness center.

This 3-bedroom, 4.5-bath house is a ski accessible escape nestled on the wooded grounds of Moonlight Basin. A two-story great room features two full-length sofas and a comfy armchair framing a wood-burning fireplace and large flat-screen TV for relaxing nights in, while a formal 8-seat dining table, set beneath an impressive cast-iron chandelier, allows families to gather around a home-cooked meal. With granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, the kitchen is sure to inspire the family chef. Three seats at the breakfast bar provide additional seating or a separate kids’ area. Floor-to-ceiling windows reveal sweeping mountain views from a private wrap-around deck, which also features a four-seat table and chairs, gas grill, and private hot tub. The spacious master suite offers views of its own with a private balcony overlooking mountains and towering pine trees. In addition to a king-sized bed, this room features a plush loveseat facing a gas fireplace, a flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a soaker tub and separate shower. Two additional bedrooms are on the first floor, both featuring queen-sized beds and private bathrooms. A third-floor loft features two additional twin beds plus an additional trundle bed to comfortably sleep 10 total guests, as well as a full-length sofa, desk, flat-screen TV and private bath. From the main-level ski room, a private staircase leads to a groomed access trail for convenient ski access to Moonlight Basin or Big Sky Resort, giving each guest the freedom to hit the slopes, break for lunch, or start apres-ski at their leisure. A private washer and dryer ensures every day can start with dry clothes. Beyond the slopes, a one-car garage gives you the freedom to explore the shops, dining and entertainment in downtown Big Sky, a 5-10 minute drive away. In the summer, soak in the mountain views and hit the trails for hiking and biking, or test your high-altitude driving distance at the nearby Big Sky Golf Course.

The Settlement Cabin, located directly across the street from the clubhouse at Spanish Peaks Mountain Club, is the perfect home for a relaxing getaway at Big Sky resort. At the Spanish Peaks Clubhouse, guests can take advantage of ski-in, ski-out access via the Lewis and Clark high-speed quad lift on Spirit Mountain as well as the community pool, fitness center, tubing hill and much more. This 3,200 square foot Big Sky vacation rental is perfect for families and groups. The 5 bedroom home has a spacious deck off the main living room with gas grill and private hot tub. With ample seating and an outdoor fire pit, this is the ideal spot to entertain. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a gas range, with seating for 8 people at the dining table plus another 3 at the breakfast bar. The living room is located on the main level and has a wood-burning fireplace perfect for relaxing after a long day on the slopes. The master bedroom is located on the main floor and has a king bed with an en-suite bath. There are two other bedrooms that both have a king bed and en-suite bath. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed with en-suite bath. The fifth bedroom has two full beds with trundles. There is also a bonus sleeping area in the loft with a twin daybed. A washer/dryer and two-car detached garage are also available, for your convenience. Please note that a temporary guest membership at the private Spanish Peaks Mountain Club is required for an additional fee, applied to persons 12 years and older.
