Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. The property is ski-in/ski-out or slopeside to both Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort via the Iron Horse Chairlift, which is in front of the Moonlight Lodge. Amenities include: Private outdoor hot tubs, washer-dryer, a full kitchen, living,and dining areas. A private 4x4 vehicle is suggested for transportation.

This 3-level home features a cozy wood-burning fireplace, a heated walkway to the front door of the home’s lower level, a back deck with a gas grill and a hot tub in the backyard also with a heated walkway and patio. The living room is located on the third floor. Here guests will find a wood-burning stone fireplace, a leather sofa, a Smart TV and access to a deck with outdoor seating and spectacular vistas!

In the summer, explore hiking and mountain-biking trails at Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Built in 2015 and named by Architectural Digest among the world’s “9 Most Beautiful Hotel Cabins,” the Silvertip enclave is a collection of unique luxury ski cabins featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood beams, mixed stone-and-wood facades, and angular mid-century inspired silhouettes. The living area flows into a 10-seat dining area with a custom granite table and gourmet, fully-equipped kitchen. The home has a laundry room and one-car garage with customized storage for your skiing/snowboarding/biking equipment in addition to your vehicle, so you can easily explore surrounding areas, including the Meadow Village and Yellowstone National Park.
