Huntley Lodge

Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Located on the Moonlight Basin side of the resort, Saddle Ridge Townhomes are a three-story complex that is cozy, yet elegant. Guests at Saddle Ridge enjoy peace and quiet with Lone Mountain rising up in the west and the Spanish Peaks glistening to the north. The property is ski-in/ski-out or slopeside to both Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort via the Iron Horse Chairlift, which is in front of the Moonlight Lodge. Located in Moonlight Basin, it’s a short drive to Big Sky Resort and other shops and amenities right in town. In the winter, take advantage of the direct ski-in ski-out access and the comforts of a dedicated ski room back at your vacation home. Located not far from the Bootlegger Lift at Big Sky Resort, you can return home, slip off your boots, and relax in the private outdoor hot tub. Explore everything winter has to offer -- skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and more -- all from this luxury Montana home. The Renegade Chalet home is perfect for the adventure seeker or family looking to get away. There are two bedrooms on the main level, each with a king bed, private bath, gas fireplace, and access to a deck. The third bedroom is downstairs and has a king bed and private bath. Also downstairs are two more bedrooms, one of which has a full bed, twin bunk bed, and private bath. The other offers a queen bed, twin bunk bed, and private bath.
