Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Residences are standalone, single-family homes. Six Bedroom Mountain Homes offer scenic forest and valley views and close proximity to ski trails with direct ski in - ski out access. These homes also offer close proximity to Lodge and its amenities. The homes entrance is located on level two - featuring the main living area and fireplace which seats 6-10 - a full gourmet kitchen with premium appliances - an island with barstool seating and a dining room that seats 8-10.

An inviting entryway with a comfortable bench has ample space for coats, boots and bags. A laundry room off the entryway makes it easy to clean up after a busy day on the slopes. An open living, dining and kitchen area has beautiful wide-plank hardwood floors, a vaulted ceiling, a large stone fireplace and beautiful mountain views. It’s just a short drive from Yellowstone National Park in the summer. The secluded location of this home affords spectacular mountain views from all angles. There are four bedrooms in total, two with king beds and private baths, a third with a queen bed, and a fourth with a twin bunk bed set and captain’s bunk bed set. The third and fourth bedrooms share a bath. A downstairs family room includes a home theater and gas fireplace, making it a comfortable retreat for the family in addition to the living room. This home also offers a private outdoor hot tub as well as a gas grill, Direct TV, and wireless internet. For your convenience Lone View also provides a laundry room and a two-car garage.

Gray Owl Retreat is an unforgettable 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home with sweeping mountain views that sleeps 10. This retreat is nestled on 1 acre of land surrounded by 15 acres of green space, and is home to elk, foxes, and abundant wildlife. Guests will love relaxing in the private outdoor spa, playing shuffleboard or ping pong in the game room or utilizing the golf hitting cage and basketball hoop in the summer.

Powder Ridge Cabins are handcrafted cabins with roomy floor plans, modern amenities, and old world charm. Enjoy cozy a fireplace, private outdoor hot tub, and a full kitchen, all nestled in the pines on the flanks of Lone Peak. The Powder Ridge Cabins are great for families and groups. Located on the north end of the Mountain Village, you can access skiing via secluded trails and bridges. In fact, on your first day of skiing, you can access the White Otter Lift and ski over to the base area to pick up your lift tickets. Just make sure you get exact directions on the best ski route back to your cabin, or you might end up too far down the mountain! Private vehicles are required for this location.
