Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. In the sitting area, a wraparound leather sofa and 2 country armchairs frame a soaring stone fireplace and TV for cozy nights inside after a day on the mountain. Steps away, high-end appliances and a gas range in the kitchen make it simple to prepare a delicious meal for 4 to share in the light-filled dining area, with 3 extra spots at the bar. Feel free to pack light and take advantage of the convenient laundry room. As the day ends, the primary bedroom with a king bed provides a tranquil spot for rest.

Alpine Meadow Chalets are surrounded by lodge pole pines and are located within a half mile of the Madison Base Area. Chalets feature fine finishes, designer décor with cathedral ceilings, stone fireplaces, decks, in-unit laundry facilities and full kitchens. A private vehicle is recommended.

It is an ideal Big Sky base for endless alpine adventures. From the open plan living area and kitchen through to the two spacious bedrooms, the warm interiors create the feel of a true ski cabin with mountain décor, handmade cabinets, and alpine artifacts. This 880 sq ft cabin is an ideal base for families and groups of friends and easily accommodates six guests in an en-suite master, bunk room with custom log beds and a sofa bed.
